Dr. Zhai Nanbin — Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)
Dr. Zhai is currently CSO of Hengchang, responsible for development planning, strategic partnerships, and M&A.
Dr. Zhai graduated from Xiamen University in the 1980s and worked at China's Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade (International Department) and the UNDP China Resident Representative Office. In the 1990s he earned an M.A. in Development Sociology from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Population Sociology from Texas A&M University. From 1995 to 2009 he served as SVP at Bank of America's credit-card division and VP at Bank of New York's consumer credit division. He returned to China in 2009 and held senior positions at Minsheng Bank's online finance and retail banking divisions. With over 20 years of experience in U.S. and Chinese banking, he is well-versed in retail banking, credit cards, risk management, online finance, and big-data risk control. Outside of work, he has held adjunct teaching roles at Tsinghua's School of Economics and Management, Central University of Finance and Economics, the New York Institute of Finance, and Tsinghua PBC School of Finance, with publications in major Chinese and international financial journals.
Shen Xiaotong — Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Mr. Shen graduated in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. He has served as CFO at multiple domestic and overseas firms, including independent director and audit committee chair for several U.S.-listed Chinese companies. His sectors include internet, cross-border e-commerce, media, travel, and electronics. He has led U.S. IPOs, private placements, M&A, and financial restructuring projects for DHgate, Boston-Power, Ku6 Media, BAK Battery, and others — bringing many years of public-company financial and management experience.

Responsibilities
- Plan and design fund-product R&D strategy aligned with the company's overall strategy and resources, supporting the company's internet-finance positioning.
- Oversee operations of the fund product center, comprehensively managing fund-product and trading-structure design and R&D.
- Stay ahead of industry developments; monitor industry products, especially competitive products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or above in Finance or related field; 15+ years at large investment firms, IB divisions, or fund managers.
- 5+ years of financial-product design and R&D management experience; experience leading innovative banking financial services or fund products preferred.
- Familiar with the entire product lifecycle, from market research and requirements analysis to product launch.
- Senior expertise in financial-product design, risk control, and internal compliance; strong management and leadership.
- Extensive industry network including banks, trusts, and fund managers.
