中国，過去數十年來的經濟奇迹，已發展為全球第二大金融市場。與此同時，隨着中美貿易戰持續，关稅之爭仍是一項重要風險因素，並對中国保持高速增長構成挑戰。

由 Boston Chinese Investment Club (BCIC) 與 CFA Society Boston 聯合舉辦的本次中国大會，將匯聚中美兩地的思想領袖與金融從業者。我們將通過 panel 討論形式，探討在大中華地區投資的機遇與挑戰，以及貿易戰對全球供應鏈與技術轉型的影響。

演講嘉賓介紹

George Hoguet, CFA, FRM — CEO, Chesham Investments；Board of Directors, CFA Society of Boston

George Hoguet 現為私人投資人，最近一職是 State Street Global Advisors（SSgA）Investment Solutions Group 總經理與全球投資策略師。在 SSgA，他與大型資本池合作處理經濟、戰略與投資政策議題，並曾多年主導公司的主動新興市場策略。早前職位包括 Frank Russell Company 的養老金顧問與 Baring Asset Management 的組合管理。1981–1985 年期間，George 在美国財政部任職，先後担任美方世界銀行 Alternate Executive Director 與財政部 Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Affairs。他目前是 The Research Foundation of CFA Institute 受托人與 Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) 顧問委員會成員。

Yasheng Huang, PhD — Epoch Foundation Professor of International Management, MIT Sloan School of Management

2013–2017 年間担任 MIT Sloan 全球合作伙伴項目與行動學習計劃副院長。曾任 University of Michigan 與 Harvard Business School 教職。榮獲 Stanford 国家獎學金與 SSRC-MacArthur 獎學金等頂級榮譽。被 National Asia Research Program 評為美国最杰出的研究中国政策議題的學者之一。曾任清華大學中国與世界經濟研究中心 Fellow、上海財經大學研究員、Michigan Business School 的 William Davidson Institute Fellow，以及 World Economic Forum Fellow。曾任 World Bank、Asian Development Bank 與 OECD 顧問，並在多家非營利與營利組織担任顧問及董事會成員。

Yan Wang, CFA — Partner and Chief Emerging Market & China Strategist, Alpine Macro

Yan 在 BCA Research 工作 15 年，2005–2017 年担任 Chief China Strategist 與 Managing Editor of BCA China Investment Strategy。加入 BCA 之前，他曾在中国與香港担任 6 年股票分析師。

Sarah Samuels, CFA, CAIA — Partner and Director of Public Markets, NEPC

Sarah 是 NEPC 合伙人，負責公司 Public Markets 團隊。加入 NEPC 之前，她在 Wellesley College 担任董事總經理，負責學院捐贈基金的投資，包括跨私募市場、公開市場與對衝基金的資产配置、組合構建與管理人選擇。早前她曾任 Mass PRIM 副首席投資官，主導內部投資委員會，並監管資产配置、投資研究與管理人選擇。Samuels 主導了 450 億美元公開市場與對衝基金組合的管理。

Mike Chen, PhD — Director, Dynamic Equity, PanAgora Asset Management

Ronald Hua, CFA — Co-Founder of Qtron Investments

加入 Qtron 之前，Ronald 曾任 Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) 合伙人，2011–2016 年担任 Quantitative Investment Strategies Group 首席投資官，監管 250 億美元主動量化股票策略與 GSAM Insights Funds。在 GSAM 之前，他曾任 PanAgora Asset Management 股票首席投資官，與 Dr. Kantsyrev 共同管理 Dynamic Equity 产品。早前曾在 Putnam Investments 担任組合經理 5 年（管理国際與美国小盤基金），並在 Fidelity Management and Research 担任量化研究分析師。

Zhu Chao — CEO, Asset Pro Group Holdings Ltd

Mr. Zhu Chao 此前曾在倫敦 JP Morgan Chase 與香港 Royal Bank of Scotland 任職，專注全球金融機構並購與海外債券發行。他於 2013 年創立 Asset Pro。Asset Pro Group Holdings Limited 在六年內完成五輪一線 VC 融資，包括 Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI)、永華資本與長安資本等。Asset Pro 是中国領先的科技驅動型海外財富管理平台。

Steve Xia, PhD, CFA, FRM — Senior Managing Director, Head of Quantitative Research and Analytics at Guardian Life；Professor of Practical Finance at Brandeis International Business School

Professor Xia 在投資管理行業擁有 17 年以上經驗。現任 Guardian Life 高級總經理，主導量化研究與分析團隊。加入 Guardian 之前，曾在 Fidelity Investments 主導超過 2,500 億美元多資产基金的主動資产配置研究；更早前在 Vanguard Group 担任 principal，領導量化分析團隊，專注於固定收益交易策略與信貸多空對衝策略。

Zu Cowperthaite, CFA, CAIA — Portfolio Manager, DePrince, Race, Zollo, Inc.

Ms. Cowperthwaite 於 2017 年加入 DePrince, Race & Zollo, Inc.，擁有 20+ 年新興市場股票研究經驗。她担任公司 Emerging Markets Value Strategy 聯合 Portfolio Manager，並參與 International Small-Cap Value Strategy。加入 DRZ 之前，她曾任 Harvard Management Company 高級副總裁，負責新興市場股票投資。

Bin Shi, PhD, CFA — Sr. Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Acadian Asset Management

Dr. Bin Shi 是 Acadian Asset Management 高級副總裁、研究 Portfolio Manager 與定量研究分析師。Dr. Shi 关注統計學軟件開發，研究方向包括時間序列預測、機器學習與統計建模。此前曾任 Mathworks, Inc. 統計學家。Dr. Shi 擁有丰富的投資經驗。

Dr. Overholt 是 Harvard Kennedy School 的 Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business & Government 高級研究員。曾任 RAND Corp Center for Asia Pacific Policy 主任。1998–2001 年任 Nomura 香港地區總部 Head of Strategy and Economics。在此之前，曾任 Bank Boston 新加坡地區總部董事總經理與研究主管。在 Bankers Trust 期間，1980–1984 年於紐約管理国家風險團隊，1985–1998 年駐香港担任地區策略師與亞洲研究主管。1971–1979 年在 Hudson Institute 主導對美国国防部、国務院、国家安全委員會等機構的規劃研究，後任 Hudson Research Services 主任，為企業提供戰略規劃服務。
